Controlling our Tongue

There was a time I had a terrible temper and I didn't always use great language, but Jesus has helped me in ways I never could have on my own. That said, there's always room to improve and Jesus will continue to help me as I grow in Him. God is so good and so patient, He meets us right where we are when we surrender control, and He takes over. I usually don't say I'm religious, because it gets misconstrued in our times. I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and because I am, I focus on my self-control and my words more and more every day. I don't ever want someone to be able to say I don't have self-control and can't hold my tongue, but I "profess to be" a follower of Jesus Christ. He can do the same for us all.
